Why Red Force Lightning Is the Strongest BY FAR

Force lightning is one of the most visually striking and dangerous abilities in Star Wars, but not all lightning is created equal. In this video, we take a deep dive into the different colors of Force lightning, with a special focus on the rare and mysterious red variant. What makes red Force lightning so unique in canon, and why is it associated with moments of extreme dark side power? We also explore how Legends continuity expands the meaning behind lightning colors, including why purple Force lightning is often portrayed as the most destructive form of the technique. From Darth Vader and Darth Sidious to Luke Skywalker and Mother Talzin, this is a lore-heavy breakdown of power, symbolism, and the mythology behind one of the Force’s most iconic abilities.

Why “LOVE” Is Extremely Controversial Among Sith

This deep dive explores the often misunderstood truth behind Sith philosophy on love and attachment, challenging the common belief that the dark side uniformly rejects emotional bonds. Tracing Sith ideology from the original Jedi Exiles through the Old Sith Empire, the Rule of Two, and into the Legacy era, this analysis reveals that Sith views on love were never singular or static. Across different eras and empires, attachment was variously embraced as a survival tactic, exploited as a political tool, rejected as weakness, or weaponized as a source of power. Through detailed historical examples including Ajunta Pall, Sorzus Syn, Darth Vitiate, Darth Malgus, Darth Bane, Darth Talon, and Emperor Valkorion, this breakdown shows how Sith attitudes toward love evolved alongside their understanding of the dark side, ultimately revealing a far more complex and contradictory ideology than either the Sith or Jedi would ever admit.

Why the Lightsabers of Luke’s Jedi Order Got REALLY Weird

This video explores why Luke Skywalker’s New Jedi Order produced some of the strangest lightsabers in Star Wars Legends, breaking down how limited resources, lost Jedi knowledge, and personal identity reshaped the iconic weapon. We examine Luke’s own synthetic green lightsaber, Jaina Solo’s synthetic purple blade, and the rare use of Corusca gems by Gantoris and Jacen Solo, including Gantoris’s dual-phase saber with rainbow wisps of light and Jacen’s brilliant emerald blade. The video also covers Corran Horn’s improvised scrap built lightsaber made from pirate junk and outdated schematics, the later use of Kaiburr crystal shards by Luke and Leia, and the uniquely organic saber of the Mon Calamari Jedi Cilghal, powered by an Ultima Pearl. Finally, it dives into Tenel Ka Djo’s infamous rancor tooth lightsabers, from her first unstable weapon that cost her an arm to her rebuilt saber that fused her Dathomiri Nightsister heritage with her royal Hapes identity, showing how Luke’s Jedi turned lightsabers into deeply personal symbols rather than standardized tools.

Why There Are Actually 3 DIFFERENT Sith Orders

This video explores the complete hidden history of the three Sith Orders in Star Wars Legends, revealing how the Sith were never a single unified faction but three distinct lineages that existed simultaneously without knowing of one another. From the Golden Age of the Sith under Marka Ragnos and the catastrophic failures of Naga Sadow, to Darth Vitiate’s secret rise as the Sith Emperor and the creation of his reconstituted Empire, and finally the Lost Tribe of the Sith stranded on Kesh, this deep dive breaks down how each Order formed, evolved, and pursued power in radically different ways. We trace how these competing Sith traditions shaped galactic history, influenced figures like Exar Kun, Revan, Darth Bane, and Darth Krayt, and ultimately merged back into a single Sith legacy.

Why Emperor Vitiate ABANDONED the Sith At the Height of Their Power

Why did Darth Vitiate abandon the Sith Empire at the height of its power? This video breaks down the true reason the Sith Emperor turned his back on the Order he spent over a thousand years rebuilding, revealing how fear of death, obsession with immortality, and godlike ambition drove him beyond Sith ideology itself. Tracing Vitiate’s rise from the Nathema ritual and the creation of the Voice of the Emperor to his transformation into Valkorion and the founding of the Eternal Empire, this deep dive explains how the Sith were never meant to rule the galaxy, but to be used as a weapon. By examining his paranoia, his rejection of betrayal based Sith culture, and his plan to consume the galaxy through endless war, this holocron reveals why Darth Vitiate ultimately saw the Sith Empire as nothing more than a stepping stone toward becoming a living god of the dark side.

We FINALLY Understand Why Palpatine VALUED Maul More Than Dooku

In Star Wars Legends lore, Darth Sidious is often portrayed as a cold manipulator who views everyone as expendable, yet the relationship between Palpatine and Darth Maul reveals a far more complex and disturbing truth. Drawing from sources like the Journal of Darth Maul, this video explores how Sidious invested deeply in Maul’s training, education, and future, raising him not merely as an assassin but as a true Sith apprentice shaped through calculated cruelty, reward, and psychological control. From brutal childhood trials to rare gifts like the Sith Infiltrator and advanced Sith knowledge, the evidence suggests that Maul held unique value in Sidious’ long term plans, making his loss on Naboo a genuine blow to the Dark Lord. This deep dive examines whether Sidious truly cared for Maul in the only way a Sith can value another being and what Maul’s survival meant for the Rule of Two and the future of the Sith

The ONLY Rakata to Keep THE FORCE and Why

The Rakata were a species so cruel that the Force itself seemed to abandon them, treating the dark side not as something to understand but as fuel to burn the galaxy in conquest and slavery. Yet even among them there was an outlier. Soa, the Infernal One, was the most powerful Rakata predator to ever live, a conqueror of a thousand worlds and a ruler of Korriban who viewed the Force as something greater than mere power. In this video, we explore Soa’s rise within the Infinite Empire, his control of Korriban and interactions with the Sith species, the formation of his Infernal Council, and why the Rakata themselves ultimately turned against him. We break down how he was sealed within the Eternity Vault on Belsavis, why he retained his connection to the Force when his species lost theirs, and how his awakening during the Galactic War forced both Jedi and Sith to confront an ancient dark side threat neither could ignore. This is the story of the Rakata’s greatest monster, the limits of raw power, and why the Sith ultimately surpassed the Infinite Empire.

Why Lucasfilm’s Succession Plans Honor the Company’s Legacy

After years of speculation, Kathleen Kennedy has officially stepped down as President of Lucasfilm and handed over the reins to new Co-Presidents Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan. For those attuned to the Force, this news wasn’t shocking, although it has raised concerns among some fans about the future of a galaxy far, far away. Despite the inevitable backlash to Filoni’s hiring customary to a fan base no stranger to toxicity, we think Lucasfilm’s succession plan is not only the logical one, but the most promising one – a plan that will put Star Wars into hyperdrive by simultaneously honoring the past and charting star systems never before seen.

Over the last decade, the very mention of Dave Filoni’s name has become disparagingly synonymous with a certain flavor of Star Wars storytelling. One only has to scroll absent-mindedly through Star Wars Twitter/X to see users poke fun at a predicted future for the franchise involving wild cameos, an over-reliance on nostalgia, projects that require a deep knowledge of Star Wars lore as a prerequisite for viewing, and lots and lots of Ahsoka Tano. All of these jabs woefully simplify Filoni’s contributions to Star Wars and overlook his genuine craft as a storyteller and filmmaker…

Why The Sith FEARED THIS Tiny Dagger More Than Any Lightsaber

The Shikkar was a rare and disturbing Sith weapon from Star Wars Legends, originating in the Fate of the Jedi series, and stands apart from traditional lightsabers through its reliance on dark side alchemy rather than kyber crystals. Forged using Sith rituals, Shikkars often featured translucent, jagged blades infused with corrupted energy, capable of channeling pain, fear, and Force-based effects rather than pure plasma. These weapons reflected an older, more alien offshoot of Sith philosophy one that viewed the Force as something to be harvested, bound, and weaponized through ritual rather than discipline. The Shikkar embodies the grotesque ingenuity of ancient Sith craftsmanship and serves as a symbol of how far Sith experimentation could stray from both Jedi and modern Sith traditions.

Why Dooku’s ONLY Plan to Overthrow Palpatine Almost Succeeded

Count Dooku is often remembered as a pawn of Palpatine, but Star Wars Legends tells a far more dangerous story. From recruitment and hidden knowledge to eternal rule beyond death, this video examines how close Dooku may have come to overthrowing Darth Sidious and asks the ultimate question: would the galaxy have been worse under an eternal, disciplined Dooku, or under Palpatine’s chaotic tyranny.

Why Lucasfilm Entrusted Simon Kinberg

Here’s the latest from Variety

When news broke on Thursday that Simon Kinberg — best known for being a writer, producer, director or all of the above on much of the “X-Men” franchise — had been hired by Lucasfilm to write and produce a new “Star Wars” trilogy, it came as a surprise to many executives at Lucasfilm and Disney. The project is considered internally to be in deep development and not nearly ready to be made public.

There was also some surprise within the wider industry that Lucasfilm had turned to Kinberg as the newest steward of “Star Wars” on the big screen. According to multiple industry sources with experience working in the franchise space, Kinberg is seen on one level as a sensible and safe choice….

Matthew Wood Explains Why The Phantom Menace Was His Favorite Movie to Work On

Here’s the latest from: StarWars.Com

The veteran sound artist was among the first crew members to work on the Star Wars prequel entry.

By Lucas Seastrom

The first person to watch the initial assembly of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999) wasn’t director George Lucas. It was then-25-year-old Matthew Wood of Skywalker Sound. As he tells StarWars.com, picture editors Ben Burtt and Paul Martin Smith had spent weeks with Lucas at Skywalker Ranch compiling the first rough version of Episode I. Hours long and far from the refined cut that audiences would see, it was up to Wood to review it and make notes about voices that needed recording.

“Paul and Ben ran out their sequences on video tapes for me,” Wood recalls, “and as I walked into their office, they were all stacked up really high on the table. George Lucas said, ‘Well, here you go, Matt. You’re the first person that’s going to watch the whole movie from beginning to end.’” George was obviously watching everything between the two editing rooms, but they hadn’t screened the movie in its entirety yet. This was the first output of the movie, and I had it in my hands. The Ranch has these bikes so we can ride between the buildings, and I put all the tapes in the front basket and rode back to the Tech Building….
