What if Luke Skywalker had been trained not just by Yoda… but by Revan?
In this full Star Wars Legends deep dive, we explore an alternate timeline where Revan’s Force spirit intervenes after the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back and takes over Luke’s training. Instead of learning solely through the lens of the post Clone Wars Jedi Order, Luke is shaped by the mind of an Old Republic master who walked both the light and the dark, defeated the Mandalorians, fell to the Sith, and ultimately found redemption.
How would Revan train Luke differently? What would change if Luke learned the philosophies of both the Jedi and the Sith from someone who mastered them? Could Luke gain deeper control over the Force, better emotional discipline, and a broader understanding of power and balance? And most importantly, would this version of Luke Skywalker become powerful enough to defeat Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine on his own?
This video breaks down how Old Republic training methods, Sith combat knowledge, battlefield strategy, and Revan’s hard-earned wisdom would reshape Luke’s growth between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. We analyze Force philosophy, lightsaber combat evolution, emotional mastery, and the potential ripple effects across the Galactic Civil War.

The vehicle from Star Wars: A New Hope is among over 40,000 pieces creator George Lucas has collected over 50 years.
By StarWars.com Team
Luke Skywalker may have been able to part with his X-34 Landspeeder for mere credits, but Star Wars creator George Lucas refuses to sell the vehicle or the other 40,000 pieces in his vast art collection.
At San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, Lucas made his first appearance at the convention that famously introduced the concept of Star Wars to the world in 1976 nearly a year before the film’s debut.
On a Hall H panel hosted by Queen Latifah, Lucas discussed his love of art, film, and plans for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, alongside Oscar winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and Lucasfilm’s senior vice president and executive design director Doug Chiang….

Here’s the latest from Variety
Mark Hamill says Carrie Fisher once had to remind him where he came from.
During a recent interview on NPR’s “Fresh Air,” Hamill remembered that Fisher encouraged him to “embrace” his “Star Wars” roots after Hamill omitted the credit from a Broadway playbill.
“[Carrie Fisher] came to see a Broadway show of mine,” Hamill said. “And in the playbill, in my bio, I listed all my theater credits and at the end it said, ‘He’s also known for a series of popular space movies.’ And she goes, ‘What’s the deal? How come you don’t mention “Star Wars”?’ And I said, ‘Well, I want to show that I have a resume that includes extensive theater credits.’ And she said, ‘Hey, get over yourself. You’re Luke Skywalker. I’m Princess Leia. Embrace it.’”…

The sequel trilogy remains a sizzling topic of discussion in the Star Wars community nearly three years after its conclusion, in no small part due to the words of actor John Boyega. Having brought Finn to life in the first cycle of films under the Disney umbrella, Boyega has been critical of both the direction the story took and his experiences on set as his character’s role deteriorated.
Such comments led to discussions with Disney executives and a phone call from Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, and for the time being all parties have seemingly buried the hatchet. With Finn’s story currently finished in The Rise of Skywalker, Boyega has served as an ambassador for Star Wars. He continues to support the franchise’s endeavors and recently voiced approval for the support Moses Ingram received following racist online comments in the lead-up to Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Though much is forgiven, Boyega isn’t without regrets – or designs of returning to the galaxy far, far away. Of late, the actor has been adamant that he won’t be donning a Resistance uniform again, in large part because he feels Finn’s story is finished. Boyega reaffirmed that position in a recent interview, and he shared some thoughts on places he’d liked to have seen the sequel trilogy go – most notably, with an iconic Jedi Master.
John Boyega Wanted More From Luke Skywalker…
In this video, we go over just how Reva knew that Luke was Anakin Skywalker’s child. We hope you enjoy!
We explore the reasoning behind just how Reva was able to find out about Luke Skywalker being on Tatooine on the Lars farm that was in the Obi-wan Kenobi series finale.
The Mandalorian may be the story of a bounty hunter turned father figure to a mysterious Jedi youngling, but it will always be remembered for the revival of original trilogy-era Luke Skywalker. In The Mandalorian‘s Season 2 finale, titled “The Rescue,” fans witnessed the return of a young Luke Skywalker for the first time in 37 years courtesy of de-aging tech.
But even though the cameo was a huge hit with fans, Luke’s final look was not. In fact, many fans felt Lucasfilm’s digital de-aging was subpar to what artists achieved online; and the studio took notice.
After Lucasfilm hired YouTuber and deepfake artist Shamook as a Senior Facial Capture Artist, Luke returned to the Mandoverse in The Book of Boba Fett, where new digital de-aging and deepfake techniques vastly improved the reception for the son of Skywalker.
Now, Lucasfilm is pulling back the curtain on just how they improved Luke’s look from The Mandalorian to The Book of Boba Fett….
In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, a celebration and a funeral have led the twin rebels to consider what’s next.
starwars.com Team
The Battle of Endor was a pivotal victory for the Rebel Alliance, and an occasion for joyous celebration for most.
But what happened after the last wokling was tucked into bed at the Ewok village, the music had ceased, and the embers had cooled on Darth Vader’s funeral pyre?
In the first excerpt to be released from Star Wars: The Princess and the Scoundrel, the new novel by Beth Revis arriving this August, Luke and Leia take a moment to survey the damage of the Galactic Civil War and consider the work yet to be done to topple the Empire……
