Star Wars | Alphabet Squadron: Shadow Fall

Star Wars – Alphabet Squadron: Shadow Fall

Join Alphabet Squadron on their thrilling Star Wars adventure as they continue their hunt for the deadliest TIE fighters in the galaxy! The New Republic may have celebrated their victory, but the remnants of imperial tyranny still linger, and Shadow Wing is one of the most dangerous among them.

Despite Yrica Quell and her ragtag team’s relentless pursuit, the elusive Shadow Wing remains out of reach, and the pressure to apprehend them before they strike again is starting to fracture the squadron. In a last-ditch effort to end this once and for all, Quell teams up with Caern Adan from New Republic Intelligence and General Hera Syndulla to devise a risky plan that could finally bring Shadow Wing to justice.

However, the enemy has evolved and Soran Keize, the last of the Imperial aces, has taken control of Shadow Wing, breathing new life into the faltering unit. Keize has found purpose in leading his lost soldiers to safety, but Alphabet Squadron is determined to stop him. Led by their former mentor turned traitor, Yrica Quell, they are the only thing standing in Keize’s way.

Will Alphabet Squadron be able to take down Shadow Wing, or will Soran Keize’s leadership prove too much for them to handle? Buckle up and get ready for a pulse-pounding ride through the galaxy!

Meet the Cast of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord

Here’s the latest from: StarWars.Com

The creators and talent behind the latest Star Wars animated series invite you to join the former Sith Lord on Janix with the two-episode series premiere April 6, 2026, on Disney+

By Kristin Baver

Maul could be described in many ways. A terrifying and agile lightsaber duelist. A menacing creature of the dark side. Add to that relatable and worthy of our sympathy.

With his first starring role in Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, the animated series introduces a new chapter in the former Sith Lord’s story, a few years after his old Master Darth Sidious succeeded in launching the Imperial era. Created by Lucasfilm President and Chief Creative Officer Dave Filoni and starring Sam Witwer with snarling precision, Maul – Shadow Lord introduces a new cast of characters struggling to survive in the early days of the Empire.

“I think people feel bad for Maul because he’s so relatable,” Filoni tells StarWars.com. “He makes mistakes. He’s not perfect. He desires power, and then he gets toppled. That’s relatable. You know, we all probably feel like that when we have a low moment. He just doesn’t deal with it well. He keeps trying to attack his problems the same way. He can’t ever really let go of his hatred and his anger.”

To bring this new era of Maul’s quest for power and revenge into focus, Head Writer Matthew Michnovetz and Supervising Director Brad Rau have assembled a crew of phenomenal newcomers and recognizable Star Wars animation stalwarts to round out the cast…

Behind the Scenes at Star Wars Night

Here’s the latest from: StarWars.Com

Major League Baseball players and staff talk about this popular annual tradition to celebrate Opening Day March 25, 2026 and this year’s Star Wars Night games

By Lucas Seastrom

A drizzly Saturday afternoon on a recent May the 4th didn’t stop the Pittsburgh Pirates and their fans from celebrating Star Wars Night at PNC Park. The game itself pitted the home baseball club and visiting Colorado Rockies in a story that felt right out of the galaxy far, far away.

Eight-and-a-half scoreless innings came down to the last out in the bottom of the ninth when the Pirates loaded the bases. Not unlike Luke Skywalker joining the Rebel Alliance to make the trench run in Star Wars: A New Hope (1977), pinch hitter Jack Suwinksi made a late entrance for the fateful moment, sneaking a base hit over the infield for the walk-off win. There wasn’t a medal ceremony like the rebels enjoyed back on Yavin 4, but it proved a much-needed victory for the Pirates…

Black Milk Star Wars: Fan Fashion

James Lillis

I grew up in the ’80s. I’ll never forget when I was a kid, going down to the store with my loose change to get the latest bubble gum cards from my favorite movie — Return of the Jedi. I would spend hours pouring over all the classic cards in my collection, looking at all my favorite characters. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said “Han Solo.”

As it turned out, when I grew up I didn’t become a galactic smuggler — I became a fashion designer.

Chewie leggings 2So it has been something of a dream come true for me that I have been able to produce a collection for Black Milk based on Star Wars. For those of you who don’t know, Black Milk is a bit unusual — is it a fashion label, an elaborate social experiment, or a cult? (For anyone wondering — it’s all of the above.)

It has been lots of fun creating these pieces. So I want to send out MASSIVE love to all the Sharkies around the world who have supported us and fangirled over the Star Wars collection. (”Sharkies,” for the uninitiated, are ravenous predators that savagely attack the Black Milk web store every time there is a new product release.) You guys look amazing!

The support of Lucasfilm in making this happen has been fantastic and I am really grateful for it. Like us at Black Milk, they seem to really like girls, swimsuits, tights, and Star Wars.

But then again…who doesn’t?

Star Wars Began Filming 50 Years Ago Today

Here’s the latest from: StarWars.Com

On March 22, 1976, one of the most iconic films in history commenced principal photography in the deserts of Tunisia. It was a long road to reach that day, and there was an even longer one ahead

By Lucas Seastrom

On March 22, 1976, the world changed, only no one knew it yet. On that morning 50 years ago, in the middle of a salt flat on the edge of North Africa’s Sahara Desert, an independent movie produced by Lucasfilm and financed by 20th Century Fox began principal photography. Its working title was The Star Wars.

Writer and director George Lucas was 31 years old that Monday. Having grown up in the small California town of Modesto, he was already a rising star among an emerging generation of American filmmakers. His first feature film, 1971’s bold and philosophical THX 1138, showed visionary potential but was a commercial failure. His second feature, 1973’s soulful and hilarious American Graffiti, became one of the most successful films of its time. Many were following the young filmmaker’s career with great interest, however few could understand the vision behind his newest project.

In truth, The Star Wars wasn’t all that different in theme from THX or Graffiti. A young boy from a backwater town seeks to break out and pursue his dreams. It was the setting of this newest film that struck so many as odd: a space fantasy realm that seemed equally inspired by Sergio Leone’s Westerns, Walt Disney’s fairy tales, and Akira Kurosawa’s epics. Lucas wanted to bring mythic dimensions to the operatic stories made popular decades earlier by the likes of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers…
