What if Luke Skywalker had been trained not just by Yoda… but by Revan?
In this full Star Wars Legends deep dive, we explore an alternate timeline where Revan’s Force spirit intervenes after the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back and takes over Luke’s training. Instead of learning solely through the lens of the post Clone Wars Jedi Order, Luke is shaped by the mind of an Old Republic master who walked both the light and the dark, defeated the Mandalorians, fell to the Sith, and ultimately found redemption.
How would Revan train Luke differently? What would change if Luke learned the philosophies of both the Jedi and the Sith from someone who mastered them? Could Luke gain deeper control over the Force, better emotional discipline, and a broader understanding of power and balance? And most importantly, would this version of Luke Skywalker become powerful enough to defeat Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine on his own?
This video breaks down how Old Republic training methods, Sith combat knowledge, battlefield strategy, and Revan’s hard-earned wisdom would reshape Luke’s growth between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. We analyze Force philosophy, lightsaber combat evolution, emotional mastery, and the potential ripple effects across the Galactic Civil War.

The Duel of the Fates in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace remains one of the most iconic lightsaber battles in Star Wars history, but Obi-Wan Kenobi’s victory over Darth Maul wasn’t about being the superior warrior. At this point in time, Qui-Gon Jinn was still the greater duelist. Even Maul himself admitted after their clash on Tatooine that Qui-Gon was the finest opponent he had faced, impressed by Jinn’s ability to stay steady and composed even on the shifting sands.
When the duel reached its climax on Naboo, Obi-Wan capitalized not on superior technique but on a fleeting moment of clarity. Maul’s arrogance, his tendency to prolong the fight rather than end it with ruthless efficiency gave Kenobi the opening he needed. Where Count Dooku’s precision or Darth Vader’s ferocity later left no room for error, Maul’s overconfidence became his undoing. Obi-Wan, centered and focused despite the loss of his master, seized the opportunity Maul carelessly left behind.
This video breaks down the deeper meaning of the duel, why Qui-Gon was still the more experienced swordsman, and how Maul’s fatal flaw was never his skill in combat, but his arrogance. We’ll explore the significance of Obi-Wan’s victory, Maul’s mistakes, and why this moment reshaped the fate of the Jedi, the Sith, and the entire galaxy.

From animation to building sets to video games, a look back at some of LEGO Star Wars biggest hits
By Amy Richau
As we get ready for the premiere of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, the mixed-up sequel series, it’s the perfect time to look to the past of the Star Wars and LEGO partnership. For over 25 years, the LEGO brand and Star Wars have teamed up for animated adventures, video games, and countless hours of pure building fun.
LEGO Star Wars projects have a tradition of mixing and mashing up classic Star Wars favorites with a twist (say hello to Darth Jar Jar and even a dark side version of Nubs!) with original characters, vehicles, and just pure zaniness. Pieces of the Past continues the adventures of Sig Greebling, a Force-sensitive nerf herder whose world was turned upside down in 2024’s LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, now on Disney+…
A prequel to a prequel, the Disney+ series provides immeasurable depth to a fan-favorite Star Wars movie, the character of Cassian Andor, and the birth of the Rebel Alliance.
By Lucas Seastrom
As with other Star Wars prequel stories, Andor reminds us that the most fascinating element of any tale is not the “what” but the “how.” Going into Andor’s first season, audiences knew its namesake, Cassian Andor, would meet his ultimate fate in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story: a heroic self-sacrifice alongside Jyn Erso at the Battle of Scarif. But knowing how Cassian’s story ends only fuels the desire to understand the journey to get there.
As a nuanced character study, Andor helps shape our understanding of Rogue One’s story, and in particular, of course, that of Cassian. Let’s explore seven ways that the latest Disney+ Star Wars series empowers our viewing of the feature film that is fast becoming a classic.
1. Friends come in all forms.
In the midst of the tragedy of the Ghorman Massacre, Cassian manages to steal a KX-series security droid, which is then reprogrammed back at the Yavin base. K-2SO’s first line is an innocent “Hello,” a touching bookend to his final “Goodbye” before his sacrifice in Rogue One….
K-2SO’s origin story has been changed in Andor, retconning a one shot comic from 2017. Here are my thoughts on how it was handled.

The road to the Clone Wars began decades earlier with the Free Trade Zones or FTZs, the failures of Chancellor Valorum, exploits of the Trade Federation and Darth Plagueis, and see how the members would all join up to form the eventual CIS, and shape what we see in the Andor show.

Creator Leslye Headland and the series cast, including Lee Jung-jae and Rebecca Henderson, take us inside the minds of the High Republic Jedi.
When Leslye Headland set out to tell the story of The Acolyte, she wasn’t intending to make the Jedi antagonists in the story of Osha and Mae Aniseya. “My goal was to see Jedi as human beings, or as aliens with the emotions we ascribe to humans,” Headland tells StarWars.com. “I wanted to make them a little bit more fallible.”
With episode 8 now on Disney+, The Acolyte’s complete first season tells the story of a mysterious assassin plaguing the Jedi Order, the rise of the Stranger, and a dark secret haunting several characters over the course of 16 years. It’s a gripping exploration of the gray area between light and dark, good and evil. In the golden age of the Jedi, even these storied knights can falter, letting their fears dictate their actions.
“One aspect that I was very interested in exploring in the show was, depending on the way you look at it, anyone can be the bad guy,” Headland says. “And depending on the way you look at it, anyone can be the good guy. Nobody wakes up in the morning and thinks they’re the villain. Everybody is doing what they think is either best for them or what’s expected of them or trying to fit themselves in a particular paradigm or ideal that is important to the institution, family, or place in the world that they find themselves in.” Borrowing a quote from Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith), Headland adds, “it’s really not about good or bad, it’s about power and who’s allowed to use it.”
By the time the credits roll, many Jedi have met a tragic end, and Master Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson) is preparing for an important meeting with Yoda himself. The moment only raises more questions — this time about what exactly Master Rwoh is prepared to disclose to the esteemed elder of the Jedi Council….
