I remember the first time I heard Ahsoka, in 2008, my thought was, oh, Disney has come to Star Wars and lo and behold, 4 years later, Star Wars was sold TO Disney.
I wasn’t one of the ones who made embarrassing scenes on the forums of the time but I think that how Ashley Eckstein held herself throughout those first few years HAS to be applauded. Yes, the character of Ahsoka DID change over time but I think how the fans eventually embraced the character is due, in no small way, to Ashley.
She was and still is a great ambassador for fans AND for Star Wars.
