Reunite with Clone Force 99 — including Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Omega — in a new novel set before the events of the final season.
By StarWars.com Team
We never got over losing Clone Force 99 when we said goodbye with the series finale of Star Wars: The Bad Batch last year, but no one’s ever really gone. And today StarWars.com is pleased to announce that soon the Batch will be back in action in Star Wars: Sanctuary — A Bad Batch Novel, a new book from Lamar Giles, with an exclusive first look at the book’s cover art by Marie Bergeron!
The story of Star Wars: Sanctuary, set during the events of Season 2 of the Disney+ series, centers on Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Omega as they work with treasure hunter Phee Genoa on a plan to help rebuild their island refuge after the devastating tsunami seen in the episode “Pabu.” Giles, whose young adult novels include Fake ID, SPIN, and Not So Pure and Simple among others is delighted by the chance to write his first Star Wars novel, having previously contributed the short story “Twenty and Out” to the From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi anthology….
Celebrating the complete three season run of THE BAD BATCH, Dee Bradley Baker joins us for an exclusive conversation about his connection to each of the characters he voiced, along with behind-the-scenes stories and insights into his creative process. Plus, we finally get around to asking Dee the questions from the famous Yoda Questionnaire. George Lucas received honors at the Cannes Film Festival last weekend. We review his whirlwind media tour in France and feature highlights of some of his very candid interviews. George also celebrated a big birthday, and we reveal who was on the guest list. Plus, we look at early reviews for THE ACOLYTE while looking ahead to the series premiere next week and more!

If there are two things the Bad Batch are really good at, it’s breaking in — and breaking out.
With Omega in the custody of Dr. Hemlock at Mount Tantiss, her Clone Force 99 brothers are concerned only with getting her back. In “Into the Breach,” they come up with a plan to sneak aboard an Imperial station and steal the facility’s coordinates; difficult, to be sure, but the team thankfully has an ex-vice admiral up its collective sleeve. Yet as they devise this covert op, Omega proves to be ever the Batcher herself — already plotting as escape for herself and Hemlock’s other captive children. A great dual-caper tale, here are five highlights…

We’re not surprised to see Rampart is perfectly suited to prison orange. After delivering on their end of the bargain, the Bad Batch wait for Fennec Shand to bring them intel on M-count research, and why it has made Omega a target of the Empire. Except Shand doesn’t show; in her place comes someone unknown to the squad, but instantly recognizable to fans as Asajj Ventress, the former Sith assassin turned free agent, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars icon. Viewers were delighted to see her in the trailer for this season, and she impresses in “The Harbinger” as both a warrior and a guide for Omega. Here are five highlights…

By Kristin Baver
Hunter and Wrecker will do anything to help Omega. This week, that means tracking down Fennec Shand and trusting the mercenary to help them get vital intel on why the Empire is hunting Omega down. Between the space gators, a chittering bounty, and Fennec’s no-nonsense demeanor, this deal is getting worse all the time. But there’s hope that Fennec is good on her word. And while Hunter and Wrecker are dealing with a literal minefield, Omega helps Crosshair calm his mind with a few tricks she learned from the Wookiee Jedi Gungi. Here are five highlights from “Bad Territory.”…
