We’ve reached the midseason point of The Bad Batch season two, with a double drop of episodes! The Clone Conspiracy and Truth and Consequences are both great examples of what this series can be when it’s at its best. Here are my thoughts.
Clone Force 99 is more than a squad, it’s a found family.

The latest episode of The Bad Batch, Tribe, was great! It takes a lot of elements from an unfinished arc of The Clone Wars as we return to Kashyyyk and see a familiar face.
The Batch is back on the trail of another treasure, but this time, with Phee Genoa in the lead. And Hunter doesn’t like it. Join us for a look at “Entombed” on the RFR BAD BATCH After Show with our breakdown and your thoughts and observations.
Clone Force 99 joins Phee on an Indiana Jones style adventure in the latest episode of the The Bad Batch, Entombed! But what did this story mean for the rest of the season and the larger story? Let’s explore.
Tech is the most underrated and underutilized members of the Bad Batch, he has genius level intellect and a terrific strategic mind. Yet on most missions he’s assigned to baby sit wrecker or placed in some other minor support role. We make the argument that Tech could do a lot more than just make some background calculations, we think he should lead the Bad Batch.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch brought back Clone Force 99, an elite group of clone troopers who were genetically modified to have a unique set of skills. The first season put us right into the very early days of the Empire and the immediate galactic changes occurring alongside the members of the Bad Batch in Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo.
But one unexpected addition to the group was Omega, a young clone who served as a medical assistant on Kamino. From her first introduction to the Bad Batch, Omega is set apart from the other clones in a number of ways — all of which help make her a truly unique addition to the Star Wars galaxy.

Long time Star Wars fans have been used to a certain version of Commander Cody’s story for years. In Star Wars Legends he remained with the Empire training stormtroopers. The latest episode of The Bad Batch has changed all that, so today we’ll look at both versions of the story and discuss why the change was made.
This week the focus is on Crosshair as he and another familiar clone face grapple with the moral and ethical dilemmas of carrying out the orders of a growing Empire. Join us tonight for another RFR After Show livestream looking at this thought-provoking episode of THE BAD BATCH. Be sure to watch, listen, like, chat, comment and call in with your thoughts and observations for “The Solitary Clone.”

Star Wars The Bad Batch is up and running with Season 2, it’s getting darker and sadder especially now with returning characters in Episode 3 The Solitary Soldier.
Crosshair is back! The third episode of season two, titled The Solitary Clone, is one of the best episodes of the series so far, exploring the continued spread of the Galactic Empire through the familiar lens of a Clone Wars inspired story. And it also brings along a familiar face…
Hunter, Echo, Tech, and Wrecker have all been teaching and protecting Omega since she joined their family in the very first episode of The Bad Batch. But the season two premiere has also made it clear that she has been teaching each of them as well, making them more well rounded individuals as well.
The Bad Batch are an elite commando unit known for operating deep behind enemy lines. When engaging the enemy they usually are outnumbered and facing overwhelming odds. But somewhere around the end of the first season of The Bad Batch, the commandos began using non-lethal stun rounds in battle. Today we take a look at why.
Producers for Season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch on Disney+ responded to questions of Star Wars canon restrictions.
While the time between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope went unexplored on-screen for years, that has all changed with Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and one of Lucasfilm’s latest animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
The series’ first season, which debuted in May of 2021 on Disney+, focused on experimental Clone Force 99 during the events of Order 66 and the early days of the Empire.
But since that inaugural season concluded, Lucasfilm has further explored this era with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and will continue to do the same with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, Jedi: Survivor.
Out ahead of the The Bad Batch’s Season 2 premiere, the show’s producers commented on creating a new season while also respecting the ever-expanding Star Wars canon…
The Bad Batch is back! The first two episodes premiered today, sending Clone Force 99 to Serenno in the aftermath of the Clone Wars. So how was the series’ return after months of delays? Here are my thoughts.
The Batch is back to raid Count Dooku’s war chest with the season 2 premiere, featuring a double feature of action-packed episodes: “Spoils of War” and “Ruins of War.” The team is sporting some new armor, and Omega’s hair may be a little longer, but what else has changed for our favorite misfit clones? We break it all down together with Super Chats, and listener calls featuring your thoughts and observations!
