The Sith may have been the most well known dark side users in the galaxy, but they are far from the only. We already know about the Nightsisters of Dathomir. We’re getting to know the Knights of Ren. But there was an ancient cult that went toe to toe with the Sith, and they were called the Ascendant.
I got the chance to interview two of the stars of Andor, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller, who play Dedre Meero and Syril Kam, two Imperial characters in the series. I asked them what organization Syril is part of, in the blue uniforms, and how they are related to Dedra’s character, but this is the entire interview, including all the questions from the other Star Wars content creators.
A few weeks ago I got the chance to speak with Genevieve O’Reilly, who plays Mon Mothma in Andor, along with several other Star Wars podcasters and YouTubers. I asked her how she would describe the Imperial Senate in public versus in private, but this is the entire interview.
I got the chance to ask Diego Luna a question about the upcoming series, Andor, which comes out in just under a month! I asked how he thinks Star Wars fans will look on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with fresh eyes after Andor is complete. This is a full interview, including questions from several other Star Wars podcasters and YouTubers.

Andor comes out soon! While you wait, here are more than ten Star Wars stories to watch or read that I think will enhance your viewing experience. Episodes of The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and The Bad Batch, as well as some deleted scenes from Revenge of the Sith, and a handful of books that connect with Rogue One!
I got the chance to interview Beth Revis, author of the latest Star Wars novel, The Princess and the Scoundrel, all about the wedding and honeymoon of Han Solo and Leia Organa!
You know that ring Leia wears in the sequel trilogy? Well it’s way more important than we thought! That’s actually the ring Han gave to Leia for their wedding. At the actual ceremony the Ewoks gave them rings made out of vines and hardened, gold amber. They were temporary, of course, but both Han and Leia loved them so much that he designed a ring that reminded them of the vines, and the two stones were meant to represent the two of them. I love that even though Han and Leia eventually separated after their son fell to the dark side, Leia continued to wear the ring. The two of them were still connected, even when they were apart. I always thought the ring itself looked cool, but now it has straight up changed how I view their relationship in the sequel trilogy.

Mon Mothma is about to become a household Star Wars name thanks to Andor! To prepare for the series, I recommend watching some of the deleted scenes from Revenge of the Sith that give a sense of some of the political intrigue we might see in the near future. How did Mon Mothma become the head of the Rebel Alliance? Her story begins in these must-watch scenes!
Whose Jedi Council seat did Obi-Wan take in Revenge of the Sith? After the Battle of Geonosis, a seat was left vacant by Coleman Trebor, the Jedi Master who was shot by Jango Fett while attempting to kill Count Dooku. Several Jedi Masters rotated through Trebor’s seat, but it was Obi-Wan who was granted a permanent assignment to the Jedi Council after his successful investigation into a mysterious bombing on the neutral planet Cato Neimoidia.
Will we see any connections to Star Wars Rebels in Andor? Will we see Emperor Palpatine in the Imperial Senate? These questions and more answered in this week’s Q&A!
