Star Wars: The Living Force, John Jackson Miller’s upcoming novel set prior to Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, finds the Jedi Order at a crossroads. In StarWars.com’s exclusive excerpt, its members debate a challenge from Qui-Gon Jinn — one that will light a spark and send the Council off to the planet Kwenn, the site of an ancient Jedi outpost from the High Republic era.

Daniel Arsham Turns Star Wars Icons Into Future Relics

The world-renowned artist speaks to StarWars.com about his new collaboration with Sideshow and Lucasfilm.

There can be beauty in decay. Daniel Arsham has won fans around the world by making this idea an art form all his own: he creates sculptures, often pulled from pop culture iconography, that look as if they’ve been found on the ocean floor after thousands of years, crystals forming throughout. And he sees a connection there with Star Wars.

“George Lucas’ version of the future felt real. It felt worn out a little bit, and this was very different from [typical] depictions of spacecraft and even aliens or other characters,” he tells StarWars.com. “So I feel that my future relic or future archeology series has some similarities with that.”…

John Boyega Reveals If He’ll Be Back For Disney’s Star Wars Future

John Boyega’s issues with the Star Wars franchise are well documented. The actor has previously voiced his frustration with Lucasfilm, at one point specifically noting how “they gave all the nuance to Adam Driver… [and] Daisy Ridley,” but not his own character of Finn.

Of course, that’s far from the only thing the actor has said on the record. In an Instagram post, the actor commented, “lol no thank you,” in response to a commenter who suggested another appearance in Star Wars, even further declaring that “[he’s] moved on.”

All of his negative comments regarding his time in the franchise even drew the attention of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy. According to Boyega, the two had a “really nice, transparent, honest conversation,” where she “verbally showed support.”

But as nice as that sounds, does it increase the chances the actor may return to his role of Finn at any point in the future?:…
