Hollywood is broken. The strikes have made every project a tentative hope. People are playing dirty. The emotions of the labor force is likely going to get angrier. Once writers begin to lose their homes, they will have nothing left to lose but to see the strike through or it was all for nothing.
In the last week, I have had meetings with sources about the state of Lucasfilm, Star Wars, and Disney. As you would expect, everything is in a liminal space at the moment. Anyone, even on the inside, who pretends they know what is going to happen is probably too confident in their analysis. I like to report facts as much as I can. The only fact I know in this article, is there is a plan or a concept Lucasfilm may or may not use.
